Winter is a great time to go to the spa!!!

It has been a long and cold winter across the country and moods and skin show it!! This is the time of year when you need to pay extra attention to your skincare; long hot showers, basking in the warmth of the fireplace and cold dry air will take their toll on your glow!! Be sure to stick to your skin care protocols and include a good moisturizer even though your skin may be normally oily.
There is nothing like a warm chocolate scrub or wrap to exfoliate your dry skin and relax you after a day of fighting the cold and snow. A deep tissue massage works the kinks out of your back and shoulders after once again shoveling snow from your car and your sidewalk.
Wild Clover can renew and refresh you as you wait for spring to finally arrive; maybe you cannot hit the beach but you can visit the spa!!!

What a great spa! Galena has so much to offer and with all the midwest snowfalls this season, the countryside is picture perfect. I would take a trip to the Wild Clover...a relaxing hydrotherapy cocoa bath, a warm hot stone massage, the unbelievable pedicure with the warm lavender neck wrap, paraffin for my feet, dim lighting and best foot massage I've ever had..... over a beach vacation any day! Such a cozy and inviting spa is perfect for a winter escape.
