Well Earth Day has come and gone for another year. It is always such a good day to step back and see how well we are doing to save our earth and leave less of our own carbon footprint. The goal is then to put into action what we have learned about "being green".
Wild Clover has been focused on looking at our practices and our products to see if there are ways we can be better citizens.
There are a few things that we have focused on: using fewer disposables and recycling more. If you are planning to head for a spring time pedicure, take your own sandals or flipflops so that you won't need a paper pair. Bring back your old makeup containers and let us recycle for you. Or buy your makeup in a palette than can have the colors changed out as you change your mood. Our mineral makeup is healthy as well so those products will be good for your skin. Buy a professional brush rather than using sponges when applying your makeup.
We will gladly refill your Moire` products at less cost to you and to our environment.
Going green is very much on everyone's minds these days; let us all commit to making the changes we can to impact our earth for the future!!!

Every day should be Earth Day!!!
As I was woking at the spa yesterday, I was changing linens with my wonderful co-worker Lee. We both love to hang our laundry on the line and were greatful the weather has been allowing this! I shared a tip with her I would like to pass on. When you do have to use a dryer, add a large dry towel to your load. The load will dry faster, saving energy and time! So easy to do. It just dawned on me that I need to pass on this tip to the people who do our laundry at the spa. We have a lot of linens to clean there, what a difference that could make.
I love working at Wild Clover because I know the staff and our owner truly have caring spirits. For each other, our clients and the earth! We already do so many little things, like we unplug (not just shut off) most of our equipment. Did you know that can cut your energy bill by 40%!
One last thing. Check out MINERAL MAKE-UP! I am going to be 42 in just a couple months. I still get ID'ed when I go out with friends. People are always asking me how I do it. Come see me at the spa and I will be happy to show you. My routine takes only 5 to 10 minutes a day. It's so great to use products that are good for my skin and the earth.
